Clipse has salted the game once again with their latest album ‘Let God Sort ‘Em Out,’ released July 11, 2025. After a 16-year break, Pusha T and Malice are back with a salty record that rocks the hip-hop scene.
This album is a collaboration with none other than Pharrell Williams, who takes full charge of production. This is the first time Pharrell has operated the boards solo for a Clipse project, which makes the release extra salty.
‘Let God Sort ‘Em Out’ contains 13 tracks totaling just under 40 minutes. It is their first full-length project since 2009‘s ’Til the Casket Drops. The album rollout was anything but quiet. The track ‘Chains & Whips,’ featuring Kendrick Lamar, caused online controversy. According to Pusha, the song's content led to a conflict with Def Jam/Universal, which resulted in Clipse's departure from the label and a new distribution deal with Roc Nation.
The themes on the album are profound, with topics such as grief, redemption and spiritual reflections. Guest appearances include Tyler, the Creator, John Legend, Nas, Stove God Cooks, Ab-Liva, The-Dream and the gospel collective Voices of Fire. The release was supported by a tour of the US from August to September, a performance at COLORSxSTUDIOS and a listening event at Louis Vuitton's headquarters in Paris. Despite multiple leaks prior to the release, the buzz surrounding the album remained high.
Social media exploded with comments, especially about Malice's return. One user posted, ‘Everyone was talking about Pusha because of the drama during the rollout, but Malice stayed quiet and literally blew several songs out of the water. Another added, ’Malice should be mentioned more in your top rapper conversations. The project is available on all platforms, with limited edition vinyls through select outlets.
With ‘Let God Sort ‘Em Out,’ Clipse has once again salted the hip-hop game and shown that they still have a big impact on the scene. This album is a must-listen for any true hip-hop head who loves pure bars and rock-hard flow.
