Dump Gawd Enriches Game with Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap 4

Tha God Fahim and Nicholas Craven are back again with their salty vibes, and this time with the fourth installment of the epic "Dump Gawd: Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap" saga. You know, Fahim has been salting the game for a while now with his unique style and immense discography. Think classics like "Breaking Through tha Van Allen Belts" and the "Dump Assassins." And now he continues his hundredth salt overload with his latest EP that leaves a true dope mark on the scene.

Fahim, once affiliated with Griselda Records and part of the salty trio Dump Gawds with Mach-Hommy and Your Old Droog, has really picked up his salty momentum since 2023. Tracks like "Dark Shogunn Assassin" (produced by Camoflauge Monk) and "Iron Bull" (backed by Nature Sounds) are now legendary. But don't forget the "Dump Gawd: Shot Clock King" series, with Nicholas Craven's masterful beats, and the sick "Berserko" produced by Oh No. Fahim doesn't stop there, he continues to sprinkle salt with his releases such as "Dump Gawd: Rhyme Pays" featuring Mike Shabb and the Cartune Beatz-produced "Machine Gun Vocabulary."

And now, in the latest release "Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap 4," we once again see him in top form. The opening track "GFY" immediately threw some samples into our ear, positioning Fahim as a founder of some underground styles. The soulful vibes of "Got Game" reminded us once again that it's all about what you bring to the table. We get a string party on "I Don't Care," where Fahim positions himself as the end boss of the rap scene. "Muscle Mass" puts a classy twist on his message about people constantly changing.

The EP gets a conceptual switch with "Plot Armor," which takes the listener on a soulful boom-bap journey, in which Fahim compares himself to grams as a tongue-in-cheek greatness. "Questions & Answers" keeps the classic kicks and snares tight while sampling soul tunes and paying all the more attention to his impressive posture. And as the final track, "Righteous Skills" offers a jazzy final hit, highlighting how often he manages to turn negative to positive vibes.

Although the original trilogy of "Hyperbolic Time Chamber Rap" received mixed reviews, this new drop is a smashing finale to 2024, and is already making us hungry for 2025! Nicholas Craven shines with his sample-driven productions that range from boom-bap to drumless, chipmunk soul and jazz rap. A jam-packed 17 minutes of salty lyrical power beats. A real must for any hip-hop head who loves lyrical depth.

Score: 9/10
