Suge Knight calls Diddy's punishment ‘Deal of the Century’

Suge Knight, the former boss of Death Row Records, recently threw considerable salt over Diddy's lawsuit. In a snappy interview from jail, he called Diddy's 50-month prison sentence a ‘deal of the century’ and accused the music mogul of being protected by federal authorities. Knight said:- ”That's the first time in history that someone who's been convicted can run a campaign as if he's running for the presidency of the United States, showing videos and basically doing anything.” \He added that he was only waiting for Diddy to have a DJ come out and dance so as not to get time off. Knight, who himself is serving a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter, compared his own court case to Diddy's, saying ”I wasn't allowed to speak. I wasn't allowed to do anything at all. \Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was sentenced in New York to four years and two months in prison for transporting individuals for prostitution. He was acquitted of more serious charges, including human trafficking and conspiracy to commit extortion. During the sentencing, Judge Arun Subramanian told Combs:Ê ”You abused them physically, emotionally and psychologically.” \Knight believes the punishment is disproportionate to the charges and called it a ”deal of the century. He said:³‘Puffy has strong ties to state and federal authorities, and anyone else would be cooked.³’ \In addition, Knight noted that none of Diddy's ex-wives were present to support him or testify, which he said says says a lot about Diddy's character. He also criticized the legal system, saying:Ê ”Women are powerless in the United States and they shouldn't be.” \Knight's comments add another layer to the already complex relationship between him and Diddy, which has been a source of controversy and rivalry in the hip-hop scene for years. It remains to be seen how this exchange of words will affect the dynamic between the two influential figures. What do you think? Is Knight's criticism justified, or is it just a case of old rivalries flaring up again?
